MEET THE TEAM (DRAFT)

Trends targets the bold and fashionable woman who is unconventional and is not afraid to be different. The Trends client adapts to different styles, aesthetics, and colors. She lets her mood dictate which outfit will rock her day. 

Yamira, a business woman, mom of two and fashion enthusiast with over 25 years of experience in the retail and manufacturing fashion business founded TRENDS in 2016.   In 2018,  Marchella Salazar, the oldest of two daughters, joined TRENDS as Creative Director. This was the beginning of a mother-daughter trio that was soon to be completed by Valentina joining the team as Content Creator.  

Her daughters's interest in fashion did not surprise Yamira, as Marchella and Valentina were introduced to the fashion industry at a very early age. Yamira owned retail stores and their father designed and manufactured apparel and shoes.  Marchella spent hours playing with swatches, mannequins, layered fabrics and began to experiment with light sewing.  At age 14 she developed her 1st denim brand called “Traveling Pants”. Valentina, on the other hand,  was inclined to the retail side of the fashion industry.  

This trio each bring their own creative spark to the business. Yamira, with a  keen- eye for fashion trends and a business savvy mind serves as CEO and runs the daily operation of TRENDS,  makes all the managerial decisions, works as creative director and buyer and also works in the merchandising and styling part of the business. Basically MOM runs the fort.  When Marchella joined the team she brought her originality and imagination and took control over the image and branding.  Today, she works as a celebrity stylist and designer for her own fashion label. Nevertheless, she still allows time to elaborate in the stores’  monthly window displays,  and assists in buying merchandise. Marchella’s  input of ideas and concepts are of great value to the company’s success.  Last but not least, Valentina has natural customer service abilities and creative skills. She coordinates all photoshoots, manages our Social Media accounts and also serves as assistant buyer.  Her goal and vision is to grow the e-commerce side of the business and reach an worldwide audience. She understands the ease of shopping online and is certain that it is the way of the future.   Being a mother/daughter brand, they are invested in building each other up and not tearing each other down. They believe in supporting each other and have created a lifestyle filled with creativity, joy and optimism. 

The trio aims to inspire confidence in their clients when it comes to how they dress and present themselves to the world.  They are devoted to delivering the most sought-after, head-turning, and up-to-the-moment trends to all fashion lovers.
